8. Make sure that lid is rmly closed. Flexifuge

will not operate if lid is not properly latched

9. To use Timed Mode, set Timer to desired

length of spin (1 to 15 minutes) and activate

by pressing Timer Button

10. To use Continuous Mode, press Continuous

Button. To deactivate, press Continuous

Button again

11. To use Quick-Spin Mode, press and hold

the Pulse Button for desired length of spin.

Release Pulse Button to deactivate

12. Wait for rotor to come to a complete stop

before removing samples

Changing Rotors

1. Using the Allen wrench loosen the top screw

by turning a quarter turn counterclockwise.

2. Remove rotor.

3. Install new rotor and use Allen wrench to

tighten locking screw by rotating clockwise.

CAUTION: Operating the 5ml rotor in

the fast mode for extended periods of time

(>15 minutes) will increase the temperature

within the centrifuge.

Cleaning

• Always disconnect unit prior to cleaning.

• To clean the Flexifuge, use a damp cloth and a mild, non-corrosive detergent.

• After cleaning, ensure that all parts are thoroughly dry before attempting to

operate the unit.

• Do not immerse the Flexifuge in liquid.
